The converter does not require an account. If you contact us, the message and contact details you submit may be used to reply to that request.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this site. It sets cookies and processes information such as your IP address and the pages you view. Normal hosting and security logs also record request metadata such as IP address, browser information, requested path, and timestamp.

Data stored on your device

Theme, favorite currencies, and up to ten recent conversions can be stored in your browser using localStorage. This data stays on that browser unless you clear its site data.

Voice input

Voice input is optional and uses the Web Speech API supplied by your browser. If you enable it, speech processing can be handled by the browser or its speech-service provider under that provider's terms. USDConverter does not receive or store the audio.

Rate providers

Fiat and crypto reference data is fetched server-side from the currency-api dataset mirrors. Normal hosting and network providers may still process request metadata needed to deliver the site.

Retention and choices

You can clear local conversion history, favorites, and preferences through browser site-data controls. Hosting and security log retention is governed by the infrastructure providers and operational security settings.
