Project notes
A practical currency reference desk
USDConverter is built for quick, transparent currency reference: convert an amount, inspect a pair, or compare a provider's delivered amount and fee without creating an account. It does not execute transfers or quote a guaranteed transaction price.
The site is independently built and operated by Ratnesh Kumar. Rate, content, and accessibility corrections can be reported through the contact page; verified errors are corrected without hiding the source or rate date.
What is included
Focused conversion tools
- Fiat and major crypto conversion
- Dedicated currency-pair reference pages
- Manual provider-quote cost comparison
- CSV and JSON rate exports
- A versioned no-key JSON API and embed widget
Rate sources
Daily reference data, checked hourly
Fiat and major crypto reference values come from the CC0 currency-api dataset through two mirrors. Active fiat codes are filtered against the current ISO 4217 list maintained by SIX. The application checks and caches fetched data for up to one hour.
Important distinction
Not a bank or money-transfer quote
Banks, card issuers, exchanges, and remittance providers can add fees or spreads. Confirm the final rate with the provider before a financial decision or transaction.
